Chrysler Sebring

Chrysler Sebring, in turn has been one of the Chrysler cars for sale that has been welcome by the experts with mixed feelings. Although it has been fitted with a long equipment list, roomy cabin and adequate fuel consumption, at the same time there were voices of criticism pointing out that there are quite a few quality issues and cabin comfort drawbacks.

Finally, there's Chrysler's PT Cruiser, the cockroach, as some call this model. The design has not changed since 2000 and so far over 1.3 million PT Cruisers have been sold in 60 countries all over the world. Some claim that the car owes its popularity to the original design which makes it so versatile: according to the needs it can serve as sedan or even a small delivery van. It is available in three specification levels: Grand Tourer, Limited and Touring with a choice of 1.5 kW 2.4-litre four cylinder engine matched with a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual.

The 300C, one of Chrysler cars for sale is the model whose presence has certainly been noticed on the market. It is available as sedan or wagon and comes with a choice of four engines: 3.5 liter V6, 3.0 liter CRD V6, 5.7 liter HEMI V.8 and 6.1 liter HEMI V.8. SRT. This model can reach 265 km/h and is capable of getting the first hundred just in five seconds. The 300C SRT version is also equipped with massive 20 inch wheel and integrated spoiler with high mounted stop light.

Merged Entity

Whether an official merger takes place or not, the two companies are working together and at a level not seen since Carlos Ghosn took over leadership of Nissan in 1999, maintaining his role as CEO for Renault too. Marchionne has said, "he is no Carlos Ghosn," preferring to run one unified company instead of two separate operations.

What the combined automaker would be called and what brands would survive are matters of interest and speculation. Jokingly, Italian-American Motors seems appropriate. On a serious matter, the Chrysler brand is weak and could be scuttled as could Lancia or Alfa Romeo on the Fiat side of the house.

Chrysler IPO

In 2010, Chrysler saw its U.S. Market share increase from 8.8 percent to 9.2 percent, selling 1.6 million vehicles worldwide. That number is still well below the 2.5 million vehicles sold in years past, but the company projects 2011 sales will reach 2 million units.

Much would need to take place before the two companies merged including assuring Chrysler's profitability remains on track and market share increases. A prosperous Chrysler appeals to investors with perhaps billions of dollars of cash infused into the company following an IPO. Chrysler owes the United States government $5.7 billion at an interest rate far above what a healthy Chrysler might secure privately. Demonstrating ongoing health is critical for the company, something Marchionne is intent on making apparent going forward.

Improved Chrysler

Marchionne is satisfied with Chrysler's progression, but has no plans to stop there. By the end of 2011, he expects Chrysler to have refinanced its federal loans and completed an initial public offering or IPO. At the annual NADA convention in San Francisco in early February 2011, Marchionne suggested an official marriage between Fiat and Chrsyler is likely, resulting in a unified automaker based most likely in the United States.

Fast forward to 2011 and Chrysler's financial picture has improved tremendously, with the automaker pulling in profits and selling more cars. For the 2011 model year, Chrysler is offering customers 16 new or significantly improved models, representing one of the most ambitious product line overhauls undertaken by an automaker.

Citroen C4

A used Citroen C4 is elegant, well detailed and oozes French style, with excellent diesel engines, broad seats, excellent visibility and strong sturdy materials that wouldn't look out of place in a prestige car. Don't forget the quirky steering wheel where the wheel turns but the centre of the wheel stayed in its place, making access to the wheel mounted controls easier to use. The high mounted LCD instrument display with details of the speed, engine temperature, trip details and fuel levels on display are very useful. Available in a coupe and hatchback version the C4 came with a good range of petrol and diesel engines and various trims. Starting off the petrol engines is the 1.4i 16v with 90bhp, followed by the 1.6i 16v 110bhp, then the 2.0i 16v 138bhp VTR and finally the 2.0i 16v 180bhp VTS. In the diesel engine you can choose to have your used Citroen in either a 1.6HDi with 92bhp, a 1.6HDi with 110bhp and finally a 2.0HDi with 138bhp.

Since it hit the market in autumn 2004, the Citroen C4 had strongly held its place in the new and used car market. With loads to offer a buyer looking for a used Citroen, with a nice damped ride and excellent body roll through corners, it really does deliver a cushioned and refined ride, a Citroen trademark.
